Inside of the foot pass

A quick introduction to the technique:

The inside-of-the-foot technique is the most frequently used to hit a short-range pass when accuracy is vital, deception is not crucial, and pace is not a primary concern.

This technique is used to advance the ball or to maintain possession by passing to a team mate.

Using the inside of the foot provides a large surface, which makes it easier to make good contact for a solid and accurate pass. Mastering this technique is vital for players if they are to be able to maintain possession of the ball.
